Volunteers

It would be impossible to stage the Lantern Parade without our community of wonderful volunteers!
Up to 100 volunteers are required to produce a successful event.
Volunteers contribute in a multitude of ways that are essential to stage the parade,
and also to support those performing key roles in the production.

Volunteers are assigned specific tasks in a variety of areas after consultation with the volunteer co-ordinator and are needed in the days & weeks (even months) before the parade, and again on the night & days after the parade.

As everyone working at this event needs to work with, and depend upon everyone else - reliability becomes an important factor - so we ask for volunteers to make a conscious decision about being dependable in the role they choose to undertake.

Interested in performing on the night of the parade?   Contact the Lantern Parade Performing
Arts Coordinator to see what's possible - there may still be opportunities for you.  Email Marina at:
